YIN WITH THE YANG

ZERO TOLERANCE: Can you truly be FOR Something without being AGAINST its opposite? Not in matters of the heart or in moral stances, yet we are to LOVE others.

God came to give us ABUNDANT LIFE (John 10:10) but the soil of our hearts determines the affect of the word on us. The 2 types of lives are fallow or plowed...
The fallow life lives off old expired fruit, doesn't want to be bothered, and acts like he has no need to change, "I'm good right where I am" is his mantra...
The plowed life is driven by the URGE OF THE SPIRIT, PRESSURE OF CIRCUMSTANCES, & the DISTRESS OF FRUITLESS LIVING thoroughly combined to humble the heart 2 GOD

A OF WORD OF HOPE FOR THE LOST

Psalms 73:21-26

...thus my heart was grieved and I was vexed in my mind.I was so foolish and ignorant, I was like a beast before You.  Nevertheless i am continually with You, You hold me by my right hand.  You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.  Whom have I in heaven but You?  And there is none upon earth I desire beside you.  My flesh and my heart fail.  But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

As I have come to understand and say to others, you really have to experience God to know him, as you read throughout the bible you see that people often experienced the greatness and goodness of God and then began to call Him by name based on that particular attribute. So whether completely lost or just beginning to find your way, taste and see the truth in these words you have just read.

HOPE FOR WHEN YOU ARE LOST

I watched the new Karate Kid for the 1st time last night. Jackie Chan's character said;

"There is a difference between being still and doing nothing."

It reminded me that though we "BE STILL" and "WAIT ON THE LORD," it doesn't mean we sit idle and do nothing.

We prepare in waiting for God to open opportunities.
