Albums You need from yester year.....

A question as asked from a interesting guy I met through a good friend about music.  The question was: "What is the Power of music?"  There was a time I believed that music was just a casual thing.  However I learned otherwise through introspection that I was wrong.  Music carries emotions, pushes emotions, brings up old memories, sits in our brains until something triggers the floodgates if the lyrics and melodies.  All music is mood music and many live their lives based on the words of a song.  When people realize that music affects them they will start to pay more attention to what they listen to.  I want to suggest that if you like any form of rap or hip-hop music, you should give some of God's people a listen. take some time to get you hands on some good music for your soul.

There is the free album from B3ARFRUIT clothing...CLASSIC

Also the free EP from Wes Pendleton

Here is a list of some of the best albums of 2010 from a good friend of mine who reviews music among other things.

EINSTEIN MONEY

So I have this great new idea to earn some paper, I will print up my own.  Now I already know what you are thinking, "there is nothing new about that idea" well let me finish.  See I am going to be able to make currency and still not go to prison, because I will only make $3 bills, $60 bills, and $500 bills. Its full proof! OR IS IT?

Hey, Do you have change for a five.....hundred?

So today at Living Word Fellowship Church Pastor Cannings talked about how many people live in the present enslaved by their past.  More specifically, they have allowed the past pains of dealing with unscrupulous individuals in various churches across the nation to drive them away from going to church altogether.  Regardless of the ungodly situations you have have experienced, it does not necessarily set a precedent for similar future situations.  This is not to say that we cannot benefit from NOT doing things from our past of refusing to get involved in activities that didn't go so well, after all if you've gone to jail or been fined for foolish behavior is is paramount that you don't follow the fool's trail again.  But there are some things that are actually good for us, and because we got mixed up with a charlatan and tricked by the thespian, we assume that all such events will have the same result.  I recall an hidden track on one of Out of Eden's albums where a youngster apparently reading and mimicking a preacher used an analogy about how you don't stop eating biscuits just because some one burned them once. People are imperfect and just because they messed up does not negate the value of whatever they misrepresented, like burning biscuits.

Can you break a $3 bill?

THERE ARE NO COUNTERFEIT $3 BILLS!!

NO EINSTEIN MONEY!

If there is a fake, there must be an authentic.  Just because there are many fake people in churches around the USA, that does not lessen then need for a real church nor the realness of God's church.

"The counterfeit is a testimony and validity of the real" - Adrian Rodgers

If the original has no value, why would a criminal or opportunist try and fake it?  There are many fakes in the world, but they are trying to mimic what is real.

God Bless

Connect to 2011

I don't know about you guys, but I am looking forward to signing and dating paperwork with 2010 and then realizing that it now 2011.  I guess the 1st purchase for 2011 will be whiteout, or erasable pens.  Are you prepared for the slew of newness?

The new cars...

New Music!

THE GLOBAL  MOVEMENT.

TV shows! New movies! New Friends, new clients, new enemies, new revelations, new......YOU?!

You see with all the not-so-brand-spanking new things being pushed in your face as we speak, what about yourself?  I an not just talking about losing weight (which was a 40 billion dollar industry in 2005).  Which brings me to my point, weight loss is such a big business because we have issues with changing ourselves.  Two years ago I went on a diet and lost quite a bit of weight, over the last year I have been fluctuating up and down.  This is bad, but also good, because it shows that I have grasped a decision I made to not just diet, but change completely.  In 2011 I will continue to change.

If you made a resolution this year I want to encourage you to not focus on doing new things, but being a NEW PERSON.  Because we become before we do.

In 2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17 it states: Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

WE BECOME 1ST, THEN WE DO AWAY WITH THE OLD AND ACHIEVE THE NEW.
